Wave Health is a Proactive risk management platfrom built for chronic care, turning patient-reported data into earlier interventions and measurable outcomes across oncology, cardiometabolic, mental health and beyond.

At UHMC Bežanijska Kosa, the clinical team implemented Wave Health's ePRO platform in an 18-week pilot, enrolling 153 patients across breast, lung, and prostate cancer care with fast onboarding and light weekly review time. Patients submitted 815 symptom reports over the 12-week monitoring period with an average completion time of 3 minutes 18 seconds, proving high usability and sustained engagement. This pilot confirmed the platform can operate smoothly within real-world clinical settings, demonstrating readiness for expansion.

Weekly Symptom Reviews

Symptom Reviews (SRs) are questionnaires that ask you to provide updates on your symptoms such as pain, nausea, vomiting, and more. Your reported symptoms will be shared with your doctor, who will review them regularly.

How do I know my symptoms are reviewed?

You'll be notified when your care team reviews your SR. If symptoms appear urgent, your doctor may follow up or adjust your treatment.

Missed an SR?

If you miss an SR, your care team may remind you to complete it. Missing two in a row may lead to account deactivation.

Track symptoms, medications, and health activities while staying connected with your care team.

Receive Alerts

Receive alerts when symptoms worsen or when they may require medical attention.

You can fill out a Symptom Review Update. Go to the My Care tab and tap ‘Symptom Review Update’.
You may only submit this update once per week.

Track Your Symptoms & Treatment Activities

Keep track of your symptom changes as they occur — including pain, fatigue, and cardiovascular symptoms. Wave Health will alert you when symptoms are progressing, and remind you to speak to your doctor when necessary.

Respond To Weekly Symptom Reviews

Each week you will respond to a Weekly Symptom Review (WSR) in the app. These surveys become available every Saturday. You will receive a report with trends on your symptoms.

Additionally, your care team may request a Weekly Symptom Review Update (WSRU) once during the week. Please respond to these at your earlier convenience in order to provide consistent updates to your doctor.

Complete In-App Questionnaires

Complete short surveys throughout your involvement in the pilot — including a profile survey at the beginning, and a feedback survey at the conclusion of the pilot.
